Podracer, Kiss My Acid, Turfboy

Muck Savage Promotions is excited to bring another night of alternative rock to Drop Dead Twice. Keeping it in the 90's alternative atmosphere, in an attempt to bring the Seattle Sub-Pop vibe back to life, we bring three bands who are all about grunge, punk and alternative.

We are proud to present:

Podracer
Angry, noisy, trashy, punchy and irreverent as they possibly could be, Irish three-piece Podracer take the post-punk sounds of the 80's, the subpop sounds of the 90's and different elements of rock, punk and metal, with lyrical subject matter as diverse as prescription drug addiction, organised religion, hoodies and serial killers, to create short, sharp shocks to the system.
They have shared the stage with some of Irelands finest rockers, most recently Kerbdog on their 2015 tour, Little Matador, LaFaro, Giveamanakick, Fighting With Wire and Lo Lite in Amsterdam. Podracer have received many favourable reviews from BBC - Across The Line, Pure M Magazine, Steel Notes Magazine, Fortitude Magazine, GUBIC, LoudStuff.com and AU Magazine.
Their debut album "Parking Cars & Pumping Gas" was released on September 29th 2012.

Kiss My Acid
D.I.Y melodic demented alternative punk band spawned from the slums of Ireland.
The definition of the three-piece alternative rock/punk sound. Think early Green Day meets Nirvana, with a touch of The Distillers and a sprinkle of L7. Seriously worth checking out.

Turfboy
Formed in November 2012, by Colin Kelly, Ollie Mortimer and Tony Carberry, out of a mutual love for 90's alternative music... January of 2013 saw the trio joined by guitarist, Conor Walls, and immediately, more than ever before, the band could feel that they were on to something special. In late 2014, Tony left the band and was succeeded by León, formally of 24 Broken Amps. They've been wrecking the gaff ever since.
